The Fresh Balsam & Cedarwood Ceramic Candle features a hand-painted ceramic vessel crafted by artist Molly Hatch, whose work draws on traditional motifs reimagined with a contemporary sensibility. The scent combines freshly cut evergreen with effervescent citrus, sparkling white cranberry, and sugared plums over a base of frosted cedarwood. The cotton wick requires trimming to 1/4–1/2 inch before each burn, while the first lighting should be maintained until the wax pool reaches the full edge to establish an even burn pattern. Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains to protect the surface beneath.
Fresh Balsam & Cedarwood: The enticing scent of freshly cut evergreen adorned with effervescent citrus, sparkling white cranberry and sugared plums over an appealing background of frosted cedarwood. For the best burn experience, keep the following in mind: The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn until the wax pool melts all the way to the edge; for a larger candle, this may take several hours. Wax has " memory," so if it is extinguished with a partial pool, that will prevent a full, even pool from forming in the future. Trim your wick each time you light the candle, removing any " bloom" from the previous burn. We recommend lighting a wick that is 1/4-1/2" in length. Do not allow wick trimmings, dust, or other materials to accumulate in the wax pool. Ensure that your candle is placed on a heat-safe surface. Discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains to prevent damages to surfaces.
