The Anthropologie Fresh Mahjong Boxed Glass Candle combines a layered green fragrance composition with a clean-burning cotton wick housed in a glass vessel. Its scent opens with jade bamboo and bergamot, unfolding through orris and saffron into warm sandalwood and a trace of worn leather, creating a grounding, meditative character. The wax is formulated for an even pool burn, with the wick trimmed to 1/4–1/2 inch recommended for each lighting to maintain consistent performance. Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains to protect the surface beneath.
Mahjong: A fresh, green composition rooted in the ritual of Mahjong-where the crispness of jade bamboo and bergamot blend with curling wisps of incense smoke, as the clack of tiles marks the start of something sacred. Notes of orris and saffron unfold into warm, creamy sandalwood and a trace of worn leather, resulting in a scent that is clean, grounding, and meditative. For the best burn experience, keep the following in mind: The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn until the wax pool melts all the way to the edge; for a larger candle, this may take several hours. Wax has " memory," so if it is extinguished with a partial pool, that will prevent a full, even pool from forming in the future. Trim your wick each time you light the candle, removing any " bloom" from the previous burn. We recommend lighting a wick that is 1/4-1/2" in length. Do not allow wick trimmings, dust, or other materials to accumulate in the wax pool. Ensure that your candle is placed on a heat-safe surface. Discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains to prevent damages to surfaces. To ensure safety and longevity, be sure to check the bottom of your candle for additional instructions, including details on when to discontinue use.
