Born in 1962, the 'Kubus 1' candleholder designed by Mogens Lassen is a special piece originally reserved for the Danish designer's friends and colleagues. Born from a commission to design the interiors for a restaurant in North Zealand, 'Kubus 1' was created to evoke a feeling of coziness and intimacy, and continues to decorate the tables of the eatery. Now available to all thanks to Audo Copenhagen, developed from uniting MENU and by Lassen, the single candleholder is a modern international design icon yet still remains rooted in the original credentials that made it so exceptional, such as still being crafted in Holstebro, Denmark.
