The Mantle in the Afternoon Wall Art features an original composition by Lauren Bencivengo, an Encinitas-based painter and interior designer with a BFA in Interior Design from Miami University of Ohio. Created under her studio Carmela Designs, the piece is executed in acrylic, a medium Bencivengo favors for its versatility in capturing design-influenced, nature-inspired subjects. Its white toning reflects her characteristic approach to everyday moments, rendered with the precision of a trained designer's eye.
