The Swan Darling Wall Art features an expressive painted composition by New Orleans-based artist Katie Windham, whose background in photography informs her layered, detail-rich approach to painting. The piece draws on themes of memory and everyday beauty, rendered with a loose, emotive brushwork style. Its green palette adds a natural, organic tone to the composition, making it a visually grounded addition to any wall display.
About Katie Windham - Love Katie Darling You can find Katie standing on the corner of wonder and memory. It is here that she will hug you and welcome you into her studio like you are already friends and kindred spirits. Her studio in New Orleans is an archive of evidence of loving and being loved. She was a photographer before a painter and now she enjoys doing both daily, if possible. Endlessly inspired by words and music and the beauty in the honest cultivation of the ordinary, Katie chases inspiration trying to write it all down, paint it wildly, and humbly photograph it before the sun sets.
