The City Matchbook Wall Art features an illustrative style rooted in the colorful and personal aesthetic of artist Larsen McDowell. Influenced by children's book illustration, the artwork combines a whimsical, hand-crafted quality with a warm beige palette. Its imperfect, expressive character adds visual texture and a handmade feel to any wall display.
About Larsen McDowell As a young artist, Larsen McDowell fell in love with children's book illustration, and hoped to eventually pursue it as a career. Though her art took a different direction, it is clearly influenced by the delight and wonder of storybooks - Larsen describes her own painting style as colorful, imperfect, and personal.
