The Arket plant pot combines sculptural design with practical functionality through its distinctive vertical lines that create an undulating surface. Its fiber concrete construction provides waterproof durability, while the included saucer catches excess water for clean placement. The bottom drainage hole facilitates proper air flow for healthy plant growth, and the organically shaped vessel offers striking light and shadow contrasts that enhance any space.
Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for 101 Copenhagen, the petit sized 'Arket' plant pot is equal parts sculpture and vessel. Characterized by a series of vertical lines that protrude from the base body for an undulating surface that offers a contrast between light and shadow, the organically shaped pot is accompanied by a saucer to catch water. As well as assisting drainage, a hole in the bottom of the pot also facilitates air flow for plants placed inside while the use of waterproof fiber concrete for both components ensures a long-lasting and hardworking vessel.
