This chic little vessel was handmade in Astier’s historic Paris workshop using black terracotta clay, sourced from the Paris Basin and pressed into a handcarved plaster mold to create a simple, spartan silhouette — a slow-paced, traditional process that gives each piece its own unique charm. From there, it’s coated in the brand’s signature milky white glaze, which lets hints of that natural clay color shine through for a perfectly imperfect feel.
