Prices are set by the retailer and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at their checkout. We recheck them regularly, but the retailer’s own page is always the final word.
We may earn a commission if you buy — it never affects which retailer we rank first.
The Wool Shikibuton folding futon mattress combines organic cotton and organic wool fibers in a handmade construction free from foam, synthetic fibers, and chemical flame retardants. Its natural fiber composition provides breathability and comfort while remaining suitable for use on tatami mats, tatami beds, or a coir pad. The 5-inch profile delivers added depth for a softer, more cushioned sleeping surface compared to the standard 3-inch version. Made in the USA, this mattress measures Full Double X-Long in size at a 5-inch depth.
