The Shuttle rug offers a distinctive textile experience with its innovative paper yarn construction. This plant-based material provides an unexpected texture that is both crisp and delicate, while its receptive nature allows for rich color saturation. The woven construction creates a memorable interior accent, and the inflexible yarn material ensures durability with its own unique personality.
A new design from textile artist Karin Carlander, the 'Shuttle' rug remains true to its creator's commitment to reinterpreting classic techniques. As such, the large green rectangular rug is woven from paper yarn, an inflexible plant-based material that is receptive to color dye and presents its own personality when manipulated. Here, the yarn expresses an unexpected texture that is both crisp and delicate for a memorable interior accent.
