Made from super-soft silk velvet, Macy is crafted following traditional ikat techniques — a centuries-old resist-dyeing process that originated in Central Asia. In this method, threads are wrapped around a frame and individually tied off with pigment-resistant palm fibers before dyeing and weaving. With each new dye color, fibers are added or removed to create a colorful and uniquely intricate motif. Bold and vibrant, Macy is patterned with blocky, abstract shapes in bright shades of red, purple, pink and black. We’ve finished it with neutral linen backing, a hidden zipper closure and a plush down and feather insert.
