These delicate pieces come to us from renowned ceramicist Astier de Villatte's historic Paris workshop, housed in what was once the atelier of Napoleon's own silversmith.There, each of these one-of-a-kind mugs are handcrafted from black terracotta following old-school techniques passed down for generations. Along with the brand’s signature milky white glaze, they're finished with “boy” or “girl,” spelled out in blocky, vintage lettering taken from celebrated designer John Derian’s collection of antique images and calligraphy.
