JH X Tensira Porter Throw Pillows - Indigo, Cotton

The JH X Tensira Porter Pillows feature dimensional striped patterns inspired by antique French parquet flooring motifs. Hand-spun and woven cotton combines with traditional indigo-dyeing techniques passed down for generations, while the envelope zipper closure provides easy maintenance. The plush down and feather insert offers soft, sink-in comfort with a blue, black and white palette. Available in small (28 x 51 cm) and large (58 x 58 cm) sizes.

Stripes get a fresh, new look with our JH x Tensira Porter Pillows. These timeless throw pillows were created in collaboration with Tensira — a celebrated textile house founded by a Guinean and Finnish husband-and-wife duo that blends Scandinavian aesthetics with ancestral West African weaving and dyeing techniques. We dreamed up Porter’s deceptively simple design in-house, drawing on the motifs found on antique French parquet flooring to create an unexpectedly dimensional, blocky feel. Tensira’s team of skilled craftswomen then brought our design to life using cotton that was spun and woven by hand and traditional indigo-dyeing techniques that have been passed down for generations. Finally, we finished them off with plush down and feather pillow inserts for soft, sink-in comfort. We couldn’t be happier with the end result, which blends a blue, black and white palette with European elegance and global authenticity. Great as a single on a favorite armchair for a classic pop of pattern, we also love Porter layered with our other JH x Tensira Pillows for an effortlessly chic feel.

•100% cotton
•hand spun and woven
•hand dyed following traditional indigo dyeing techniques
•envelope zipper closure
•down and feather insert
•handmade in the republic of guinea
•jayson home x tensira

dimensions

•small: approximately 11" x 20"
•large: approximately 23" x 23"
