This work helps these craft communities to preserve their culture’s time-honored practices while also earning a livable wage to support themselves and their families. The process starts with linen thread, which is handwoven on a traditional loom to create a soft fabric. This fabric is then block-printed by hand using ancestral techniques to create a mix of thick, bold indigo stripes and narrow red and white stripes. Finally, it's finished off with a hidden zipper closure and a luxe down and feather pillow insert for a plush feel.
