Found in the offices of the Secretariat Building in Chandigarh's Capitol Complex, the 'Capitol Complex' armchair was developed by Italian brand Cassina in tribute to Pierre Jeanneret, cousin of Le Corbusier and designer of a host of furniture throughout the complex. Defined by independent pieces that include oak wood side bars in an inverted 'V', which support the padded armrests, leather upholstery and coplanar legs, the armchair manages to be both simple and powerful.
