The August Table offers versatile functionality with its durable aluminium construction, suited for both indoor and outdoor use. Its low, wide proportions provide a minimalist aesthetic, while the light green finish adds contemporary appeal. The table combines monastic-inspired design with modern durability, and the aluminium material ensures weather resistance and longevity.
One component of Vincent Van Duysen's 'Outdoor' collection for Serax — created when the designer was commissioned to convert the monastery of the former military hospital in Antwerp into a hotel — is its series of minimalist tables. A tangible link between the history of that environment and Van Duysen's modern interpretation, the aluminium tables are inspired by monastic life while presenting the durability and modern-day comfort required of a contemporary furniture piece. Suited to both indoor and outdoor use, this light green table offers low, wide proportions that lend themselves to an updated aesthetic.
