The Bölling tray table combines functionality with its foldable H-frame construction, featuring two circular reversible trays in beige and brown that can be flipped for color variation. Its fumed oak frame provides sturdy support, while the dual-color trays offer styling flexibility. The collapsible design suits both serving and side table needs, and the reversible tray system adds versatile display options.
Tasked with the challenge to create a simple and highly functional table that could be assembled with ease, Danish architect Hans Bølling designed the 'Bølling' tray table in 1963. Crafted from oak wood, this wider version of the table comprises a foldable H-frame upon which rests two beige and brown circular reversible trays, which can be flipped for colour variation. The result is a versatile piece that can be utilised as a side table or a serving trolley, and fully meets Bølling's mission to create a practical table that simultaneously offers emotional and playful qualities.
