The Massproductions Cord large rug combines handwoven 100% wool construction with a distinctive striped texture, created through a design collaboration between Layered and Massproductions. The stripes are woven directly into the foundation with a slightly thicker yarn, generating a subtle 3D relief that is both visible and tactile across the surface. Natural color variation within the wool gives the rug a warm, rustic character, while a supportive backing contributes added weight and stability underfoot. Each piece requires approximately two days to complete by hand, well above the average for standard handcrafted rugs. Note: fringes extend the total length by approximately 13 cm beyond the stated dimensions.
