The Pacifica Costa Nova mugs combine a matte glaze finish with durable fine stoneware, fired at high temperature (1180°C / 2160°F) using a single firing system in Portugal. This firing method creates a ceramic body with strong resistance to both thermal and mechanical shocks, while the surface is chip resistant, metal marking resistant, and stain resistant. Each mug holds 11 oz and is stackable, making storage straightforward. The set is oven safe, microwave safe, dishwasher safe, and freezer safe, and meets FDA standards for lead and cadmium content.
