Every nine years, these ancient trees are stripped of their bark (and any organically-formed burls), which will grow back over the course of the next decade — making these sustainable vessels rather rare and special. Even better, they’re antibacterial and non-absorbent, making them perfect for serving up everything from snacks and apps to the main course.
