The Bokken Chair offers distinctive design with its Japanese martial arts-inspired silhouette, crafted from natural beech wood. Its backrest features gold leaf covering that creates a striking accent, while the solid wood construction ensures lasting durability. The chair's unique form combines artistic appeal with functional seating, and the beech wood frame provides reliable support for everyday use.
Designed by Giancarlo Bellavista and Matteo Piccini of the Milan-based architectural firm Bellavista & Piccini, Colé Italia's 'Bokken' chair is a customisable furniture piece inspired by the silhouette of the wooden swords used in the Japanese martial arts Aikido and Kendo. Cut from natural beech wood, this version of the 'Bokken' chair is defined by a backrest covered in golf leaf — a striking yet elegant detail that makes for an unforgettable statement.
