The Hen Figure offers distinctive character with its ceramic construction, part of the Icone collection that merges archival designs with contemporary chromatic codes. Its green finish provides visual appeal, while the ceramic material ensures durability and artistic expression. The figure draws from Alvino Bagni's collaborative works with Remo Buti, bringing historical design influence into modern decorative settings.
Having tapped into the archives of Alvino Bagni and Remo Buti, designers Simona Cardinetti and Christoph Schnug have created the 'Icone' collection. Defined by a series of decorative ceramic objects that merge the original subjects with a new chromatic code, the series presents a reinvigorated aesthetic language that reinforces the expressive force of the items they were influenced by. The 'Hen Figure' is a green ceramic character that harks back to Alvino Bagni's collaborations with designer Remo Buti, a leader of the Florence Radicals movement.
