The Gravita bowl features a distinctive tilting design that creates gentle wobbling motion when touched. Made from matte verdi alpi marble, its weighted construction automatically returns the bowl to its stable position. The medium size provides versatile display options, while the green marble finish adds natural stone beauty to any surface.
Designed by Lucas Pouly for Marsotto Edizioni, the 'Gravita' bowls are reminiscent of tilting dolls with their play on shape and balance. Like roly-poly dolls, when the bowls are nudged they wobble and sway, and the force of gravity acts on the center of gravity to produce a slight torque. The weightiness of the matte verdi alpi marble used here always causes this medium-sized bowl to return to its normal position from which its natural beauty can be observed.
