The MoonFire Lunar Rock Edition combines Norman Mailer's iconic text with Marc Newson's design in one of only 12 copies, each corresponding to an astronaut who walked on the Moon. The edition is housed in a case modelled on the Apollo 11 LEM (Lunar Excursion Module), its surface rendered as an actual three-dimensional topography of the Moon. Each copy includes a unique piece of lunar meteorite — specifically a Lunar Feldspathic Breccia (NWA 4936) sourced from the Macovich Collection of Meteorites, measuring 69 x 42 x 17 mm and weighing 91.26 g, discovered in Siskou, Morocco.
