A dead ringer for the prizes you probably brought home as a kid, each trophy features a molded plastic figure dipped in a shiny gold finish and attached to a wooden base. For a clever twist, we had their faux brass plaques etched with some awards of our own, which ended up being pretty fun to come up with. The rest of the credit goes to N.C.-based artist Jenni Earle, who, drawing from her own personal journey, makes these and other cool talismans to inspire the champ in others. We knew we had a real winner of a present on our hands from the moment we ran into her and her collection of grown-up trophies.
