The Matthes console table features a streamlined form built from reclaimed pine wood, finished in a bold black tone that highlights the material's natural grain. Its tabletop is positioned to appear suspended over the base, achieving a visual balance between the horizontal surface and its supporting structure. The reclaimed pine construction provides inherent texture and character, while the black finish gives the piece a more defined, graphic quality.
