The Paavo Tynell 1972 pendant lamp features a conical bamboo shade constructed from hand-sewn pleated slats fastened to a wire frame, with a linen liner directing light downward while allowing a diffuse glow to radiate through and around the shade. Its brass details complement the warm tone of the bamboo, consistent with Tynell's signature approach to material pairing. A fabric diffuser below the bulb modulates light output, while a decorative brass finial beneath adds a refined finishing detail.
