The Flora Chandelier features shades crafted using the fazzoletto technique, an centuries-old glassblowing method in which a molten glass dome is spun upside-down to form waves resembling wilting flower petals. Hand-finished brass details accent the fixture throughout, while dim-to-warm bulbs illuminate the colored glass shades to produce a gradual shift in tone as light levels change. The combination of spun glass construction and warm-toned hardware gives the piece a layered, tactile quality.
