The Grand Modele Armchair features a black powder-coated steel frame with down-filled cushions, rooted in the 1928 'cushion basket' design that reversed conventional chair construction. The frame remains fully exposed, supporting the cushions from beneath rather than concealing the structure beneath fabric. Vintage leather in brown adds a textured, lived-in character, while the down cushions offer a soft, enveloping sit.
