Delivery, Returns & Customer Experience

This is the section we would read carefully before ordering.

Kathy Kuo Home offers parcel, threshold and White Glove delivery depending on the item. Smaller pieces generally ship more quickly, while larger furniture and White Glove deliveries take longer, and made-to-order furniture carries additional production lead times shown on individual product pages.

The return policy is considerably less generous than we see at many mainstream furniture retailers.

Eligible unused items must generally have a return requested within seven days of delivery, and returns over $100 are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. Custom and made-to-order pieces, wired or assembled products, final-sale items and several other categories cannot be returned.

For the right shopper, yes. Kathy Kuo Home’s strength lies in the quality of its edit and its ability to bring different design influences together without the assortment feeling disconnected.

It is particularly strong for anyone whose taste sits between contemporary and traditional. If you love natural materials, classic references and interiors that feel layered rather than overly decorated, there is plenty here worth exploring.

The compromises are largely practical. Prices are high, quality varies between makers, and the relatively tight return window and restocking fee mean larger purchases require careful consideration.

Our approach would be to use Kathy Kuo Home for the pieces that anchor a room — the sofa, dining table, statement lamp or accent chair — rather than necessarily buying everything around them.

Its greatest strength is not any single aesthetic or product category, but its ability to make traditional references feel relevant to contemporary homes. We think the brand is strongest for sofas, accent furniture, lighting and material-led statement pieces, particularly if your taste sits somewhere between quiet luxury, new traditionalism and relaxed European-inspired design. The pricing means we would shop selectively, however, and the restrictive returns policy makes research essential before committing to larger pieces.
