Hand-woven patio light Amphora with permanently integrated LED
The design of the Amphora patio light is intended to provide warmth - at least that is the aim of the designers Alex Fernández Camps and Gonzalo Milà. And the designers have succeeded in doing just that: with its rattan look and diffuse light, the luminaire creates a cosy atmosphere and lends the outdoor area a homely character. However, the luminaire does not only cut a fine figure on the terrace or the balcony, but also creates moments of well-being indoors.
The bulbous shape is based on the two-handled clay pots from antiquity, which also suggests the name of the lamp. The body is hand-woven and made of polyethylene, which is particularly weather-resistant. Inside, a permanently installed LED provides a warm white light, which is dimmed by a white sphere made of plastic and softly distributed in the environment. For a stable stand, the luminaire was equipped with a three-legged frame made of aluminium, which is protected against rust by a cathodic dip painting and is particularly durable.
