Design by Jette Scheib: Oyster pendant light Two metal rings interwoven with cotton threads form the basis for the extraordinary lampshade of the Oyster pendant light. Its name is not entirely without reason, as it is visually reminiscent of an oyster in an abstract sense. The pearl in the centre of the light is represented by the bulb, which is concealed under a round cover. The designer of this series of luminaires, Jette Scheib, seeks inspiration in her surroundings, in people and in their behaviour towards each other as well as in their interaction with objects. She designs lights that are not only functional, but above all create a cosy atmosphere and have personality. Jette Scheib studied at the Berlin University of the Arts and now lives and works in Barcelona.
